Disability Support Worker – Complex Care (24/7 Support Services)
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in providing 24/7 support services to participants with complex care needs.
This role involves supporting individuals to achieve their goals, maintain their independence, and enhance their quality of life through person-centred care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and daily living support.
- Assist participants with community access and social engagement.
- Support participants with complex care needs in accordance with care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and the broader support team.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience supporting people with disabilities.
- Experience working with participants who have complex care needs is highly preferred.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, overnight, and public holidays.
