About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across our operational facilities. This role is essential in ensuring equipment reliability, workplace comfort, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Service compressors, condensers, evaporators, air handling units, and associated controls.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
- Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimise downtime.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or a related HVAC discipline.
- Previous experience as an HVAC Technician in industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and electrical controls.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Relevant refrigeration handling and trade licences/certifications.
