About the role:
Apex Socials is looking for an experienced Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work across a diverse range of brands, creating high-quality content that aligns with each client's unique identity and marketing strategy.
From planning content shoots and capturing photo/video content to creating reels, posts and story content, you'll play a key role in helping our clients show up online with confidence.
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves branding, marketing and creativity. Someone with a strong eye for aesthetics, a passion for creating beautiful content and the confidence to build great relationships with clients.
This role isn't suited to someone looking for their first marketing position. We're after someone with previous industry experience who can confidently step into client work and contribute from day one.
What you'll be doing:
- Planning and attending content shoots across Perth.
- Capturing high-quality photo and video content.
- Creating Instagram reels, posts and story content.
- Working closely with a variety of brands across different industries.
- Communicating with clients and helping them feel comfortable on camera.
- Bringing each client's branding and social media strategy to life.
- Organising content and working within our internal systems and workflows.
- Contributing creative ideas and helping both our clients and Apex continue to grow.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in social media marketing and content creation.
- Is confident using Canva Pro (Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus).
- Has a strong understanding of branding, marketing and current social media trends.
- Has an exceptional eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Loves photography and videography.
- Can confidently direct and make clients feel comfortable during content shoots.
- Takes initiative and enjoys contributing ideas, not just completing tasks.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage multiple brands.
- Has a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Is happy learning and working within systems such as ClickUp, Google Drive and Meta Business Suite.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is a Perth-based role and is not a fully remote position.
You'll be employed on a casual basis, starting at approximately 15–20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as the role grows.
A portfolio or examples of previous work are required as part of your application.
Pay: From $37.00 per hour
