We are currently sourcing a dynamic, team orientated, trade qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our close knit team for our client who is a leading milk manufacturer in the Western Suburbs.
This position is full time for 4 months with potential ongoing consisting of 2 day shifts and up to 8 afternoon shifts per fortnight.
Who are we? We are a leading provider of Specialized Maintenance Professionals who work as an integral part of our clients team supporting them to increase plant efficiency and maintain their high end manufacturing and processing equipment. We have been working with our client for over 10 years and opportunities to work on this site are rare.
To be successful in this role is is essential that you have experience working on fixed plant and equipment in the FMCG industry and have previously worked in the food and beverage industry. This role will require proven experience with;
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Valve maintenance necessary
- Pneumatics, hydraulics and pumps
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Proven experience in food and beverage industry
- TIG and MIG welding preferable
- An ability to support production team during shift to achieve reliability and production targets
- Forklift licence advantageous
Your experience in providing preventative and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment with the ability to diagnose and repair in a timely manner is crucial.
