We’re looking for a Creative Lead to help shape the ideas that define MECCA-Maginations – the home of MECCA MAX, MECCA COSMETICA and kit, MECCA’s owned brands and brand incubation function.

Sitting within our newly formed Creative Direction department and working very closely with MECCA-Maginations every day, this is a senior, concept-led creative role for someone who lives for ideas, storytelling and brands that make incredible impact with their customers. You’ll turn brand strategy, customer insight and cultural shifts into compelling creative concepts that set the direction for campaigns, brand moments and experiences across three distinctly different brands.

You’ll bring deep creative expertise, plenty of curiosity and a generous, collaborative approach – helping us push what’s possible while ensuring every idea feels unmistakably true to the brand it represents.

The Role You Could Play

As our dedicated Creative Lead for MECCA-Maginations, you’ll be at the heart of creative thinking for the brand portfolio, shaping ideas from their earliest spark through to a clear and compelling creative vision. You’ll also play a critical role as a creative brand guardian, helping evolve how each brand shows up in the world and ensuring every customer expression is ambitious, intelligent, distinctive and consistent.

You will:

Develop and lead original creative concepts across MECCA MAX, MECCA COSMETICA and kit spanning major campaigns, launches, brand moments and other strategic initiatives.

Translate brand strategy, cultural insight and business opportunity into distinctive ideas, setting the creative tone for design, content, art direction and customer experience.

Partner closely with the Heads of Brand, General Manager of MECCA-Mag, Head of Creative Direction and Head of Creative Strategy to evolve each brand’s creative vision and champion a strong red thread from strategy through to storytelling and experience.

Collaborate across Design, Art Direction, Content, Visual Merchandising, Digital, Retail and Marketing to inspire brilliant, cohesive creative work across every touchpoint.

Be hands-on throughout the creative process – leading ideation, refining and presenting concepts, facilitating creative workshops and providing thoughtful feedback that elevates the work and the teams around you.

Bring an outward-looking perspective to the team, staying deeply connected to culture, creativity, beauty and the world beyond it, and translating what you see into meaningful opportunities for our brands.

What You Will Bring

You’re a strategic creative thinker who can spot what’s happening in culture, understand what matters to a brand and turn those insights into ideas people want to pay attention to.

Senior creative experience within an agency, studio or brand environment, ideally as an Art Director, Senior Designer, Design Director or in a comparable creative role.

A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign-level ideas, brand worlds and creative direction, with experience in beauty, fashion, lifestyle or retail highly regarded.

The ability to hold and articulate distinct creative visions across multiple brands while connecting strategy, storytelling and customer experience.

A deep appreciation for craft and how design, copy and art direction come together to turn a great idea into something memorable.

A collaborative, curious and energising approach, with the confidence to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders and balance creative ambition with commercial thinking.

A strong and autonomous leadership mindset, with the ability to set direction, bring teams and individuals on the journey and elevate the thinking and creative work of those around you.

The confidence to have a point of view, paired with the generosity and openness to build on the ideas of others and make the work stronger together.
