Assistant Venue Manager to join our family in Sydney Olympic Park.
Located within Sydney Olympic Park,
RAFI URBNSURF offers a unique space within Sydney's first ever surf park. Blending the opulence of a hatted restaurant with the laid back vibes of a coastal beach town. You will have the opportunity to work across incredible events, share a unique culinary journey with guests or grab a coffee and watch the surf!
As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will...
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the venue, delivering exceptional guest experiences from the moment they arrive until we welcome them back again.
- Inspire, coach and develop a passionate front-of-house team, creating a positive culture where people can thrive and do their best work.
- Champion Applejack's service standards while confidently implementing venue procedures and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table, collaborating with the leadership team to enhance the guest journey and drive success.
- Celebrate wins, provide regular coaching and help every team member reach their full potential through genuine development opportunities.

- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry
- A true passion for people, authentic love for the hospitality industry, and be self motivated & want to be developed to be a part of the future of Applejack
- A solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage knowledge, in an elevated dining environment
