We’re looking for a reliable, physically fit, and detail-oriented Removalist / Furniture Installer and Warehousing Officer to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a vital part in making every property look its absolute best. You’ll be responsible for the careful delivery, installation, arrangement, and removal of our styling furniture and décor.
If you enjoy physical work, take pride in doing things properly, and like seeing an empty room turn into a beautiful home, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully load, transport, and unload styling furniture, artwork, and accessories using our company vehicles
- Install and arrange furniture according to detailed styling plans and floor layouts in residential properties
- Safely disassemble and reassemble furniture where required
- Remove all styling items at the end of the staging period and restore properties to their original condition
- Maintain our furniture and equipment in excellent condition
- Work closely with our styling team to ensure every property is presented perfectly
- Follow all work health and safety procedures, including proper manual handling and use of protective equipment
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with real estate agents, vendors, and clients on-site
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience as a removalist, furniture installer, or in a similar hands-on role (highly regarded but not essential – we’ll train the right person)
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to regularly lift and move heavy items
- A keen eye for detail and pride in presentation
- Excellent reliability and a strong work ethic
- A current Australian driver’s licence (White Card and forklift licence are advantageous)
- A positive, can-do attitude and good communication skills
- Availability for early starts and some flexibility with hours (properties are often staged early in the day)
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate + overtime opportunities
- Consistent work across Melbourne’s inner and middle suburbs
- Modern, well-maintained company vehicles and high-quality equipment
- Supportive team environment with ongoing training
- Opportunity to grow within a thriving property styling business
- The satisfaction of seeing properties transform and sell quickly because of your work
This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, physical work, and being part of a creative process without sitting behind a desk all day.
