About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy All-Rounder Barista with a minimum of 2 years of specialty coffee experience. In this dynamic role, you will do more than pull exceptional shots—you will move seamlessly between dialing in grinders, serving customers, managing front-of-house operations, and supporting team members during peak rushes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coffee Excellence: Prepare consistent, high-quality espresso beverages, demonstrate proficiency in alternative milk texturing, precise extraction, and clean latte art in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Service: Deliver warm, attentive, and efficient customer service, taking orders accurately at the POS and handling customer inquiries with warmth.
- Floor & Counter Support: Keep the dining, service, and counter areas pristine, clear and sanitize tables, restock retail and pastry displays, and assist with food presentation or light prep when needed.
- Operations & Cleanliness: Perform daily opening and closing procedures, maintain machine sanitation, and adhere strictly to food safety standards.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working as a barista in a high-volume café environment.
- Barista Skills: Strong understanding of coffee extraction, espresso machine calibration, grinder adjustment, milk steaming techniques, and pouring efficiency.
- Adaptability: A proactive, "can-do" mindset with the ability to step up wherever help is needed—from the machine to the register or floor.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including early mornings and weekend shifts.
