Human Resources Coordinator – Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Officer to ensure we provide a positive colleague experience from recruitment, onboarding, training, development, engagement activities and off-boarding.
A little taste of your day-to-day

Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes for our hotel colleagues, ensuring a seamless experience in partnership with Human Resources Officer.

Be a central point of contact for all colleagues and respond to queries in a timely manner.

Support learning & development initiatives, including onboarding sessions and maintaining training records.

Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, procedures, contracts, and communications.

Support HR team and Chief Engineer on OH&S compliance and support HR Officer with Work Cover claims and Return to Work processes.

Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with Hospitality Industry General Award and any other applicable awards and employment legislation.

What we need from you
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Proven ability to flex and adapt to varying situations and problem solve.
- Ability to guide, confidentially influence and build professional rapport with department managers, leaders and colleagues.

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Human Resources generalist capacity
Previous HR/Payroll experience within Hotel Industry or within Tourism and Hospitality is preferred.
