As Executive Manager, Crew Tech Lead, you will be a technology thought leader driven by curiosity, innovation and engineering excellence. You will shape the technical direction of a critical Financial Crime capability, leveraging data, automation, AI and modern engineering practices to deliver outcomes that strengthen customer trust, improve operational effectiveness and reduce financial crime risk.

As part of this role, you will:
Define and execute the technical strategy, architecture and roadmap for a critical Financial Crime capability, including the evolution of cloud-based data platforms and capabilities in data technologies that enable advanced analytics, AI and risk detection.
Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership and continuous improvement.
Partner across Product, Data, Risk, Operations and Technology to translate strategic priorities into technology outcomes.
Drive the design, scalability, resilience and optimisation of enterprise data platforms, ensuring high-quality, governed and accessible data across Financial Crime use cases.
Champion modern engineering practices, automation, artificial intelligence and cloud data platform capabilities, and platform simplification to accelerate value delivery
Influence technology investment decisions, architecture direction and enterprise priorities across the broader ecosystem.
Ensure technology solutions are designed with security, resilience, risk management and regulatory obligations at their core.
Manage technical dependencies, risks and trade-offs across crews, domains and enterprise programs.
Build organisational capability by coaching engineers, developing future leaders and fostering technical excellence.
Represent technology outcomes and priorities in domain, enterprise and executive forums.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Strong experience delivering and operating large-scale data platforms, including data governance, data quality, analytics enablement and AI/ML workloads within regulated environments.
Experience delivering large-scale data platform and engineering capabilities, including enterprise data platforms, data products, analytics and cloud-native architectures.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale technology, engineering or platform teams in complex enterprise environments.
A track record of delivering transformational technology outcomes that create measurable business, customer or risk value.
Experience shaping technology strategy and translating long-term vision into executable roadmaps.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability, including experience working with senior executives.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through ambiguity, complexity and organisational change.
Strong understanding of risk management, resilience, security and control frameworks within regulated environments.
A passion for building high-performing teams, developing talent and fostering engineering excellence.
Proven ability to simplify complex problems and drive pragmatic, outcome-focused solutions.
