Bookkeeper / Administration Support - Work From Home + Occasional On‑Site Work
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Bookkeeper / Administration Support professional to assist with the financial and operational functions of our haulage transport business and two landscape supply yards.
This role suits someone who is highly organised, trustworthy, and confident managing bookkeeping tasks across multiple entities.
About the Role
- Primarily work‑from‑home with flexibility.
- Occasional on‑site visits to our landscape yard locations each week.
- Manage bookkeeping, administrative duties, and inventory‑related tasks across multiple businesses.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and operational information.
Essential Requirements
- Proven bookkeeping experience with strong administrative capability.
- Experience in retail inventory management.
- Proficiency in Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Retail Express (highly desirable).
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Professional references from reputable employers or clients.
- Reliable transport for required on‑site visits.
Desirable Experience
- Background in transport, landscaping, construction, or trade‑based industries.
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- A proactive and trustworthy approach, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records across multiple businesses while upholding complete confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or equivalent practical experience.
Pay: From $49,900.00 per year
