Job Description:
Stoke Furniture, a leading National Furniture Wholesaler with its Head Office based in Melbourne, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team in Lynbrook.
This is a permanent position and is available for an immediate start for the right candidate. All necessary training will be provided. Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, and Friday 7.30 am to 2.30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Stock Movements (inwards and outwards)
- Supervise the Warehouse Team, Providing assistance, Leadership and Guidance
- Oversee accurate storage, picking and loading of product
- Ensure proper maintenance and safety of equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with regulations
- Cycle Counts
- Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for operational excellence
- Assist with the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure efficient processes are followed
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing or supervising a warehousing team (One year minimum)
- Solid understanding and application of safe work procedures
- The ability to thrive under pressure with great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Availability to work Monday-Friday 7.30am to 4:00pm
- Stock Picker (LO) License – Preferred
- Medium Regid (MR) Truck License – Desirable
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all staff
- Strong problem solving abilities
