Heavy Machinery Operator – Clarence, Australia

Pay: $32.32 USD per hour
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Clarence, Australia
Work Type: On-site Call 269 408 6738 USA

What You’ll Do

Operate heavy equipment including:
- 40-ton haul trucks
- Excavators
- Bulldozers
- Ford Raptors
Perform vehicle inspections before and after shifts
Complete DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports)
Report maintenance or safety issues
Help test vehicle hardware and software systems
Give feedback to engineering teams about vehicle performance
Follow all company safety rules and procedures
Travel occasionally (up to 5%) for testing and field work

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
Comfortable operating large 20–40 ton vehicles for long periods
Clean driving record
Able to pass:
- Background check
- Road test
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and safety-focused
Willing to learn new technology and autonomous vehicle systems

Preferred Qualifications

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required

Driving Record Requirements

No more than 2 minor driving violations in the last 3 years
No serious violations in the last 5 years
No DUI/DWI/reckless driving convictions in the last 10 years
No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
No DOT-recordable accidents in the last 10 years
