Orange Evangelical Church (OEC) is looking for a godly, servant-hearted woman to join our ministry team, co-lead our Grow focus area, and help train and disciple women in Orange and beyond. We long to see women of all ages equipped, supported, and growing as courageous disciple-makers and leaders in our church community. The new worker will join an active ministry team serving multiple congregations, working alongside a church full of people who want to see women thrive as disciples of Jesus.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a growing Christian of godly character who deeply loves God, his Word and his people.
- Prayerfully and faithfully sits under God's Word, and is able to teach it to others
- Builds teams and trains up leaders
- Is driven, organised and has initiative
- Works well with others
- Has theological training (or a willingness to undertake training) from a reformed theological college.
What does the role involve?
- Co-leading the Grow focus area across OEC’s five congregations
- Leading OEC’s Women’s Ministry Team
- Planning and shaping ministries that help women connect, grow, and serve
- Equipping women to teach the Bible, lead others, and share their faith
- Training and mentoring female ministry apprentices, to help them take their next steps in gospel ministry
- Partnering with a supportive, gospel-driven staff team to see women joyfully follow Jesus.
This role is part time (0.6 FTE) with the potential to increase as ministry opportunities develop.
