The German International School Sydney (German School Johannes Gutenberg) is seeking a highly qualified and versatile individual to fill the role of Football Academy Coordinator.
The successful candidate will serve as the head coach of the Football Academy, which is a cooperation with Borussia Dortmund (BVB), and will be responsible for the technical coordination of the program.
This unique position requires a strong background in football coaching and coordination as well as excellent knowledge of the BVB philosophy and approach.
Responsibilities:
· Establishment and strategic development of the GISS Football Academy in close collaboration with the school leadership.
· Design and implementation of age-appropriate and performance-based football training for students of all school levels (recreational and competitive levels).
· Development of an annual plan for training, competitions, and camps.
· Planning and execution of school football activities (tournaments, friendly matches, school championships).
· Coordination and supervision of all football coaches.
· Building a network with external partners (clubs, associations, other schools).
· Organization of holiday camps and promotional events to increase the visibility of the academy and the school.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Football coaching license (DFB, UEFA, or equivalent qualification).
- Several years of experience working with children and young people in a school and/or sports context.
- Experience in organising sports programs or football academies is an advantage.
· Commitment to professional development in coaching roles.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
