About the role
The Radiographer/Sonographer or Sonographer - Senior delivers a senior level ultrasound imaging service within the Department of Medical Imaging across the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). The role provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a large tertiary and quaternary healthcare environment, supporting a diverse range of patients across acute, emergency, surgical, women's health and rehabilitation services.
The successful candidate will perform complex ultrasound examinations, provide expert clinical judgement and contribute to the ongoing development of imaging services within the expanding Herston campus. The role also participates in after-hours and on-call services, supports education and training activities, and contributes to service improvement, quality initiatives and multidisciplinary patient care.
