QuickCare is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Baby Room Leader to join a beautiful and highly regarded early childhood service in Dural NSW. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated educator who thrives in an infant environment and is confident leading a team, building responsive routines, and creating a safe, stimulating space for children aged 0–2 years.
About the Role
As Baby Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional education and care while supporting your team of educators. You will lead the planning and implementation of play-based learning experiences grounded in the EYLF, support children through key developmental milestones, and cultivate meaningful partnerships with families during this critical stage of their child's life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support educators within the baby room
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the EYLF
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment for children aged 0–2 years
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with infants, families, and the wider team
- Support children's emotional, physical, and developmental needs through respectful caregiving routines
- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards, and centre policies
- Contribute to the service's positive culture and commitment to high-quality practice
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or senior educator within an infant/toddler setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards
- A deep understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education, particularly in the 0–2 age group
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
