Join Holmesglen's Community and Social Studies department as a Casual Teacher delivering the Certificate IV in Leisure and Health. We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about sharing their industry knowledge and helping students develop the skills required to support the wellbeing, independence and quality of life of individuals requiring care and support.
As a casual Teacher, you may be engaged to deliver classes, assess student outcomes and contribute to a positive learning experience across the program. This opportunity is ideal for industry professionals looking for flexible teaching work while making a meaningful contribution to the future workforce in the aged care, health and community services sectors.

To be successful, you’ll have:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.

Certificate IV in, or Diploma of Leisure and Health, or relevant qualifications and current industry experience in Leisure and Health, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or a related field.

Demonstrated experience supporting the wellbeing and social engagement of older people and/or people requiring care and support.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and industry stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other digital technologies used to support teaching, learning and administrative activities.

Demonstrated ability to tailor learning activities to diverse student cohorts and create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
WWCC and Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
