Position: service-minor install Electrician/ Dry Fire and Alarms Technician
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Electrician or Dry Fire Technician to join our skilled team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service all fire detection and alarm systems. (Training will be provided if application has general electrical background)
- Connection of smoke alarms/ emergency and exit lighting.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in various fire systems.
- Install and replace fire detection and alarm systems.
- Perform minor fit-out works and associated commissioning.
- Assist in preparing customer quotations and identifying remedial work.
- Communicate directly with clients, including builders and building managers, regarding service work.
- Perform basic programming (experience with Notifier and Ampac panels is preferred). (Training will be provided if application has general electrical background)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in the fire industry (or an interested electrician).
- Valid Electrical Licence.
- Current White Card.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards. (training will be provided if coming form general electrical field)
- Fire panel programming skills (additional training can be provided).
- Ability to work independently or effectively in a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
