About our Opportunity
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Production Operatives. As a Production Operative, you will play an integral role within our manufacturing team, contributing to the production of a range of products including shower screens, glass products, and custom-made solutions. Key responsibilities include operating production machinery, feeding raw materials into manufacturing equipment, performing manual handling tasks, and packaging finished products for delivery and installation. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, teamwork, and efficiency to ensure production targets and customer expectations are met.
Key Responsibilites

Safe Work Practices: Take responsibility for your own and others safety. Maintain a safe, supportive and hazard free work environment whilst working in a safe manner at all times in accordance with Company WHS procedures and practices.

Production: To work as part of a team to carry out production of quality products in accordance with company standard operating procedures, in a timely manner to ensure production meets our customer requirements. ·
- Housekeeping: To maintain good housekeeping practices so that all work environments are maintained to 5S/standard. ·
- Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to site continuous improvement practices and principles.
- General Duties: Actively contribute to broader team plans and responsibilities, through multi-skilling and carrying out other duties that may be required from time to time.

Compliance: To ensure adherence with all company policies, procedures and compliance standards and always operate with integrity.
Requirements:

Safe Work Practices: Demonstrated experience to carry out safe work practices with 100% compliance to company WHSE practices, safe work instructions and wearing required PPE.

Production processes: Demonstrated ability or aptitude to carry out technical requirements of roles. Previous experience working safely with machinery, tooling, manufacturing and manual handling processes, daily and hourly reporting, to produce quality work to standard operating procedures.

Technical measuring and numeracy skills: Demonstrated experience working with product bills of materials, sub-assemblies, components, material codes and sizes. Where required, ability to read technical data sheets, bills of materials, technical drawings, perform material breakdowns, optimise material lengths, and apply out of square measurements.

Manual handling up to 20 kgs.
Desirable Qualifications

Secondary School Certificate (Year 10, Year 12, or equivalent).

Current Forklift Licence.

First Aid Certificate.

Other relevant licences or certifications applicable to the role.
