VR Quest is Sydney's leading Virtual Reality entertainment venue, offering immersive VR experiences for schools, vacation care groups, corporate team-building events, birthday parties, and community organisations. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Development Representative to help grow our business and expand our reach across Sydney.
About the Role
This is a part-time position based in St Peters, working 3 days per week. Your primary focus will be generating new business opportunities and developing relationships with:
- Schools and educational institutions
- Vacation care and OOSH providers
- Corporate organisations seeking team-building activities
- Play centres and family entertainment venues
- Community groups and youth organisations
You will be responsible for introducing potential clients to VR Quest, arranging venue visits, conducting outreach campaigns, and converting enquiries into bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective clients through phone, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings.
- Build relationships with schools, vacation care providers, and corporate organisations.
- Create and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Conduct outbound sales campaigns and follow-ups.
- Attend networking events and community activities when required.
- Develop partnerships that generate repeat bookings.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with management on sales and marketing initiatives.
- Achieve monthly sales and booking targets.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence making outbound calls and initiating conversations.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience selling services, events, education programs, or hospitality offerings is highly regarded.
- A passion for technology, gaming, entertainment, or experiential businesses is a bonus.
