About us:
The inpatient Cancer Care Ward is a 32-bed unit located on Level 4, D Block, comprising 20 dedicated haematology/oncology beds co-located with 12 general medicine beds. The ward also supports patients requiring urgent systemic treatment when the day unit is at capacity. Services include medical oncology, radiation oncology, and haematology. Care is delivered through a team-based model, with a nursing workforce consisting of dual-trained Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC) nurses and general medicine nurses. Staff may be required to work across other areas within their scope as needed. Further ward-specific information will be provided upon offer.

About your role:
Provide support, guidance, mentoring, preceptorship, role modelling and promote cooperation and collaborative teamwork.
Apply change management principles.
Act as a clinical and educational resource within an area based in knowledge, skills, and experience.
Participate in developing and undertaking quality initiatives, clinical audits, clinical trials, and research.
Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research.
