The City of Perth is seeking a Commercial Business Performance Analyst to support strategic pricing, revenue optimisation and evidence-based decision making within Parking Services.
In this role, you will analyse demand behaviour, revenue streams, utilisation, market conditions and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement. You will translate complex data into practical insights, support pricing initiatives and trials, and help shape system enhancements and strategic projects that deliver tangible commercial outcomes.
- Lead the analysis of parking demand, pricing, utilisation and market trends to develop commercial strategies that optimise revenue, improve customer outcomes and support the City's long-term objectives;
- Develop financial forecasts, scenario modelling and business cases while evaluating pricing initiatives, pilot programs and operational improvements through robust performance analysis;
- Analyse complex datasets using business intelligence tools to identify trends, improve business processes and provide meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making; and
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, translating technical analysis into clear recommendations and ensuring projects align with legislative, governance and organisational requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial, financial or quantitative analysis, with the ability to develop forecasting models, assess risk and support evidence-based business decisions;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting complex data, identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering practical business solutions;
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools to produce meaningful insights, dashboards and reports that support operational performance and strategic initiatives; and
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and influence decision-making across a diverse range of audiences.
