Domestic Cleaner Wanted

Community Nursing SA (CNSA) is currently seeking reliable and compassionate Domestic Cleaners living in or near the Southern, Northern, Western and Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
This role involves providing domestic cleaning and household assistance to vulnerable individuals, including older persons, NDIS participants, and people living with health conditions, within their own homes.
Due to a number of shorter local shifts, applicants must be comfortable travelling between nearby clients and providing respectful, professional and person-centred support. Our cleaners play an important role in helping clients maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment, supporting their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Minimum Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Previous domestic, residential, commercial, aged care, disability or community cleaning experience preferred
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working With Children Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of infection control principles and safe work practices
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- General household cleaning, including:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Laundry and linen changes
- Emptying bins and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable living environment
- Identify and report any concerns regarding client wellbeing, safety, or home hazards
- Build positive and respectful relationships with clients
- Complete required documentation and service records accurately
- Work in line with NDIS, aged care, WHS, privacy, and safeguarding requirements
- Attend required training and professional development
- Travel between client homes as required
- Maintain up-to-date availability and roster preferences to support a 7-day roster

- Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience (in line with the SCHADS Award)
- Hours: Flexible shifts across a 5-day roster (Mon-Fri)
- Locations: Client homes across the greater metropolitan Adelaide area
