Details: The Senior Director, Targeted Support is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic and operational outcomes that support ACT public schools to effectively manage complex and challenging student behaviours. Leading a multidisciplinary team, the role provides oversight of targeted support services, case coordination, risk management and system-wide capability building to ensure safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments for students and staff.
The position requires an experienced leader who can successfully manage change, influence behaviour, strengthen organisational structures and improve business processes within a complex service delivery environment. Drawing on experience in human services, education, disability, health or community services, the successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of sustainable frameworks and interventions that improve outcomes for students, schools and the workforce.
Working closely with schools, families, government agencies and sector partners, the Senior Director will build strong stakeholder relationships, provide strategic advice, and identify opportunities for system improvement. The role requires a collaborative and adaptable executive who can navigate complexity, lead reform, manage risk and deliver practical solutions that enhance safety, wellbeing and service effectiveness across the education system.
