The kind of physio work most people want — but rarely find.
Think about the clients you actually enjoy treating. They show up. They do the work. They ask good questions. They're not looking for someone to fix them — they want a guide who'll help them get back to the thing they love doing.
That's the caseload you'll build at Good Vibes Physio.
Our clients are everyday athletes — the people who run trails, lift, surf, play sport on the weekend, where movement is a genuine part of who they are. They value their health, they're willing to invest in it, and when they trust you, they listen.
We exist to give people like that athlete-grade care — real plans, real progressions, real outcomes. Not a quick fix and a follow-up in six weeks.
What this role is
This is a part-time position (15–20 guaranteed hours per week) designed for an experienced clinician who's ready to do their best work — with the space and support to actually do it.
You've got a few years under your belt. You know what good rehab looks like. What you're probably looking for is a place where that matters — where you're not being asked to cut corners, rush consults, or tick boxes.
The clinic isn't a treatment-table-and-exit setup. We have high-end gym and testing equipment — you'll use it. Sessions blend hands-on therapeutic work with exercise prescription, load management, and return-to-performance programming. The environment feels more like a coaching floor than a waiting room.
What we're looking for
Clinically, you'll need:
- Current AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience
- Strong musculoskeletal assessment and manual therapy skills
- Confident, progressive exercise prescription — you can build a program, adapt it, and justify every step
- Clear, direct communication — clients leave your sessions knowing the plan and why it makes sense
Beyond the clinical skills, we care about this even more:
- You've developed your own clinical thinking — and you're still refining it
- You take ownership of your caseload, the outcomes, and the relationships
- You want to contribute to something, not just show up to it
- You're the kind of clinician who talks about cases because you find them genuinely interesting
- You're open to feedback and collaborative by nature — not defensive, not passive
What you'll get
- The ability to build client base worth caring about — motivated people who show up and do the work
- Regular mentoring and clinical discussions with a senior physio — built into your week, not an afterthought
- Above-award hourly retainer and super plus performance-based commission as your caseload grows
- Paid admin time in your schedule
- Access to high-end rehab and testing equipment (including VALD systems)
- Room to develop a clinical niche — a specific population, sport, or area you want to own
- A genuine voice in how the clinic develops — we're building something, and your input shapes it
Nice to have
- Dry needling qualification
- Experience in strength and conditioning environments
- Interest in developing a niche within a specific sport or population
- Familiarity with performance technology (e.g. VALD systems)
- Comfortable contributing to content or on-camera work when needed
