Who we are:
We’re a bit of a hybrid! A mix between a hire company and an event company. Our clientele range from large corporate team building organisations to local councils, a variety of state and private schools of all levels and to small backyard parties. We hire out jumping castles/bounce houses, obstacle courses and some of the biggest, awesomest waterslides in Southeast Queensland!
Who you are:
You are a physically fit, a go-getter looking for an outdoorsy job that will take you anywhere from south of Ballina to north of Noosa, out to Kingaroy and everywhere in between! We’ve been everywhere in Southeast Queensland (and northern NSW!) and we’re looking for someone who’s focused on ensuring our customers have the best experience when we bring them the FUN wherever that may be!
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be working outdoors in all weather conditions. Events can change quickly, so you’ll the ability to take initiative, think on your feet and adapt to changing situations
You will be:
- Loading, unloading and setting up inflatable equipment
- Packing down and returning equipment after events
- Taking initiative to respond to on-site event changes
- Supervising at events - often supervising children
- Cleaning equipment in preparation for events
- Providing friendly, professional service to all clients
- Following all safety procedures and instructions
- Available for weekend work (this is essential - it’s when most of the fun happens!)
You must be reliable and punctual and have a current drivers license. This isn’t the type of role where there’s someone else ready to fill-in if you don’t show up! Most events have very strict access and egress times plus time limits on set ups so we need to be running a tight ship when it comes to catering to our clients event requirements. We need someone keen, engaged and pumped ready to go! Remember the energizer bunny ad!?
You'll be part of a hands-on crew often riding shotgun so there’s plenty of down time to watch southeast Queensland as it flies past your window. Heck we may even stop in at a bakery for a pie along the way to wherever it is we’re headed that day!
Initially, this will be a casual role - but if you hit the ground running and love what we do, there is an opportunity for you to grow with us in the form of permanent part-time or even full-time employment.
