PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Manager Water SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) leads the team that delivers SCADA services to support provision of water
and wastewater services to customers throughout the Northern Territory. The role is accountable for the development of the water and wastewater
SCADA capability within Power and Water and the planning, engineering design, management, installation, configuration, operation and
maintenance of water and wastewater SCADA assets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Lead and develop the Water SCADA team and contribute to development and outcomes of the Operational Technology function more broadly.
- Lead and manage personnel within the Water SCADA team and external resources with a constructive style and maintain a strong professional
relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and high levels of service are achieved with a positive outcome focus.
- Manage delivery of SCADA services including planning, engineering design, installation, configuration, asset renewal and replacement, capital
project delivery, testing, preventative and reactive maintenance of SCADA systems and components for water and wastewater systems across
the Northern Territory.
- Develop plans for and manage safety, cyber security, physical and financial resources, delivery schedules, procurement, contracts and risk.
- Provide high level advice to Senior Managers and the Executive Leadership Team and report on the status of water SCADA service delivery and
development.
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of policies, procedures and standards for the team and contractors to ensure the provision of accurate,
robust SCADA solutions.
