Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and evidence-based Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic hospital allied health team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive nutritional care to acute and sub-acute inpatients across diverse wards, including medical, surgical, oncology and rehabilitation units. Your day-to-day will involve conducting detailed nutritional assessments, prescribing tailored medical nutrition therapies including formulating enteral feeding regimes, delivering disease specific nutritional presentations to day program groups, and working closely with kitchen staff to optimise the hospitals food service. You will be required to collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and speech pathologists, to champion early nutritional intervention and drive complex discharge planning to optimize patient outcomes.
About you:
To be successful, you must:

hold a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and be eligible for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential

Motivate patients, educate families, and seamlessly integrate into fast-paced multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Prior experience in an acute hospital setting is highly regarded,
