Position Description
The E-Waste General Labour's duties may include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Safely dismantle electronic waste (e-waste), electrical equipment, appliances, and other recyclable materials using approved tools, equipment, and work methods.
- Disassemble items such as computers, laptops, printers, televisions, monitors, servers, batteries, cables, power supplies, and other electronic devices to maximise resource recovery.
- Segregate dismantled materials into designated categories, including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, plastics, circuit boards, batteries, cables, and other recyclable components.
- Inspect equipment and materials prior to dismantling to identify potential hazards, contamination, or non-conforming items.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and responsibly while following safe work procedures.
- Ensure dismantled materials are accurately sorted and placed into designated bins, cages, pallets, bulk bags, or storage areas.
- Meet productivity and quality targets while maintaining a strong focus on workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.
About You
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Able to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in recycling, warehousing, manufacturing, or labouring roles is advantageous.
- Experience using hand and power tools is preferred.
- Forklift Licence (LF) preferred .

Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
Experience:
- labourer: 2 years (Required)
- using power tools: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Full Work Right with no restriction for at least 2+ years (Required)
- driver license and car to commute to work? (Preferred)
