SafeWork NSW is the state's workplace health and safety regulator. Our mission is to reduce work-related fatalities, injuries and illnesses by ensuring workplaces comply with health and safety laws. About the role:
We are looking for an Advisor, Organisational Development to provide high-quality advisory, coordination and project support to deliver workforce and capability initiatives across SafeWork NSW.
You will contribute to the design, delivery and continuous improvement of organisational development programs that build capability, support organisational change and enhance workforce performance, working closely with stakeholders across the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging OD tools, resources and learning solutions (e.g. workshops, toolkits and digital content) to build capability and support organisational change
- Deliver and coordinate OD initiatives, ensuring programs are implemented effectively and achieve defined workforce and organisational outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide sound OD advice aligned to workforce and capability priorities
- Undertake research and analysis on contemporary OD practices, translating insights into practical recommendations and improvements
- Develop and maintain reporting and evaluation frameworks to monitor program delivery and effectiveness
- Coordinate project activities, including tracking milestones, managing risks and maintaining governance documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive, inclusive workplace culture through customer-focused OD practices

About You:
You are a motivated and detail-oriented OD professional who enjoys working across multiple initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes. You bring:
- Experience supporting organisational development, learning or capability initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to design or coordinate learning solutions, tools or resources
- Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical actions
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a focus on continuous improvement
