THE ROLE
The Director Service Delivery Support leads the delivery of operational ICT system enhancements, improved business processes and digital solutions to improve client outcomes and support the work of front line service delivery staff.
The scope of work includes all operational program streams, including children and families, family violence, housing and disability services.
Located within the Community Operations and Practice Leadership Division, the role works in close collaboration with operational colleagues, other divisions within the department and more broadly as required.
The role leads business related functions that are critical to client service delivery focused ICT system development and maintenance, including subject matter expertise, development of ICT business requirements, mapping of end-to-end business processes, and user acceptance testing to ensure systems are fit for purpose and meet the needs of operational staff and clients.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Establish and maintain robust processes to ensure ICT systems are delivered and meet the needs of the operational workforce.
- Provide authoritative advice and subject matter expertise relating to the suite of client information systems utilised across operational divisions.
- Collaborate with operational staff and program Divisions to ensure policy and program intent is reflected in business processes and system enhancements.
