Happy Feet Fitness is seeking an energetic, reliable Cover Instructor to support our Geelong team by stepping in when regular instructors are away due to leave, illness or events.
This is a great fit for dancers, performers, fitness instructors, early childhood educators, teachers, students, or anyone who enjoys working with young children and wants variety in their week.
No two days are the same, making this ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility and stepping into different centres across the region.
What You’ll Do
- Cover structured 30-minute classes for children aged 0–5 in child care centres when our regular instructors are unavailable
- Use music, movement, dance and imaginative play
- Perform in costume and engaging children in character
- Travel to centres across Geelong and surrounding areas
- Build positive relationships with educators and staff
Availability Requirements
You must be available at least 3 weekdays during school hours (approx. 9am–3pm).
Work is offered on an as-needed basis, with regular opportunities throughout the year.
What You'll Need
- Available a minimum of 3 weekdays during school hours
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel across the Geelong region
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- ABN (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence engaging groups of very young children
- Permanent Australian work rights
- Aged 18+ for insurance and supervision requirements

Pay: $60.00 – $90.00 per hour
