If you've heard of Tinka, you probably already know we take our coffee seriously. We're a well-loved café in Launceston with a loyal following and a reputation built on consistently great espresso, warm service, and a genuinely fun place to work. We're looking for a barista who gives a damn about what they're making and knows how to have a good time doing it.
This is a casual role with regular hours sitting around 10–20 hours a week, with the opportunity for growth as we open our next venue.
Shifts are mornings and days, so you're done and dusted well before the afternoon is over.
What we're looking for:
- Solid barista skills: consistent shots, properly textured milk, confident latte art.. You should be comfortable behind the machine and confident in a busy service environment.
- Weekend availability is a must, that's when we need you most
- A genuine love of coffee, not just an ability to make it
- Someone who's switched on, takes pride in their work, and gets along well with a team
