THE ROLE
As an Inventory Coordinator, you'll support the Inventory Supervisor in maintaining the integrity of inventory across our Distribution Centre. You'll be responsible for executing cycle counts, investigating stock discrepancies, supporting stocktakes, and ensuring inventory records remain accurate.
Working closely with warehouse operations and other stakeholders, you'll play a key role in improving inventory accuracy and supporting the smooth flow of stock throughout the business.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Conduct scheduled cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and support root cause analysis.
- Assist with the planning and execution of warehouse stocktakes.
- Research and reconcile inventory variances.
- Monitor inventory integrity, ensuring stock quantities and locations remain accurate.
- Support quality control checks across inbound, staging and outbound operations.
- Assist with product damage investigations and inventory adjustments.
- Support the Box Pick process and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with warehouse operations to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve inventory processes and Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectiveness.
- Ensure all inventory activities are completed safely and within agreed timeframes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Distribution Centre.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to investigate problems and identify practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work across multiple teams.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience is highly regarded.
- Previous experience within a retail or supply chain environment is advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly regarded.
- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business are advantageous but not essential.
