At Royal Freemasons, we're looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, working four days per week (8:00am to 4:00pm).
Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
About the Role
Based at one of our Residential Aged Care homes in Melbourne's western suburbs, this hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the facility, grounds, and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
You will undertake a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, coordinate contractors, support compliance activities, and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
This position is ideal for a practical and reliable professional with broad maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
This is a part-time position working four days per week (8:00am to 4:00pm), ideally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and offers a salary of $70,000 pro rata plus access to generous salary packaging benefits.
What You will Bring:

Trade qualification and/or extensive maintenance experience

Experience in general maintenance and grounds work (aged care experience preferred)

Practical skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general repairs

Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise competing tasks

Solid computer literacy; CMMS/asset management experience valued

Experience coordinating contractors and service providers

Understanding of scheduled maintenance programs

Current full Victorian driver’s licence

This role requires a valid Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. All aged care workers are encouraged to maintain uptodate COVID19 (3 doses) and influenza vaccinations.
