ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Up to $55.26/hr + OT | Lifestyle roster available | Tomago workshop
Join WesTrac’s Tomago CAT workshops (Rebuilds & GCON) and work on some of the biggest mining and construction gear in the industry.
We’re looking for trade-qualified Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join high-performing teams across machine rebuilds, maintenance and diagnostics.
$55–$82 +/hr + OT, paid fortnightly
Lifestyle roster available (work half the year)
Modern CAT workshops – rebuilds & field-leading equipment
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Maintain, repair and diagnose CAT machinery
Work across rebuilds, component overhauls and heavy maintenance
Perform fault finding to keep equipment running at peak performance
Support rebuild lifecycle (Rebuilds) or service & breakdown work (GCON)
Work safely and efficiently in a high-performing team
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Trade qualification (Plant / Heavy Diesel / HV)
Experience on heavy equipment or mobile plant
Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
Safety-first mindset with solid work ethic
Ability to work independently and in a team
ROSTERS AVAILABLE
Monday – Friday (GCON & Rebuilds)
50-hour week | Rotating days & nights
Lifestyle Roster (Rebuilds only)
5D4O, 5N4O | 12.5-hour shifts
