About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to provide evidence-based physiotherapy services across a range of clinical rotations at Redcliffe Hospital and across Metro North. You will manage varied caseloads in inpatient and outpatient settings, contribute to multidisciplinary care, and build clinical expertise while participating in weekend and after-hours rosters.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver high quality physiotherapy clinical services across inpatient and outpatient caseloads in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. Organise and prioritise allocated patient caseload and undertake routine physiotherapy tasks within well establish clinical protocols and according to approved
Work cooperatively and effectively within the physiotherapy and interprofessional team and with patients and their families to provide value based and collaborative care.
Provide student education and clinical practice supervision for less experienced practitioners, commensurate with the level of experience, as well as direction to assistant, support staff and work experience students, under guidance of senior clinical practitioners.
Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within a team and by engaging in clinical education, quality improvement and professional development activities.
