We are growing, and we're looking for a motivated & experienced Trade Assistant & Waterproofer to join our team. We specialise in commercial, industrial and remedial waterproofing, as well as protective coatings, and are seeking individuals who take pride in their work, show initiative and want to develop long-term skills in a high-demand trade.

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable & experienced Trade Assistant & Waterproofer to support our qualified waterproofers and project teams on various job sites.
This position will commence as a casual role for an initial three-month period, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position based on performance, reliability and team fit.
The role includes hands-on work, site assistance and the opportunity to learn remedial waterproofing and protective coatings — specialised and highly sought-after fields within the construction industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with remedial waterproofing and protective coating applications
- Supporting qualified waterproofers and coating technicians
- Site preparation: grinding, cleaning, patching and surface preparation
- Using power tools, hand tools and equipment safely
- Carrying materials and assisting with membrane and coating systems
- Following instructions, safety procedures and project scopes
- General labouring and onsite support across commercial/industrial sites
What We're Looking For
- Interest in learning remedial waterproofing and protective coatings
- White Card (mandatory)
- Driver's licence (mandatory)
- Current car licence (required)
- Working at Heights and/or EWP (Elevated Work Platform) tickets will be highly regarded
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Punctual, reliable and committed to consistent work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interstate travel expected on an as needed basis
- Australian work rights required
Prior experience in remedial waterproofing or coatings will be highly regarded.

Pay: $27.00 – $38.00 per hour
