About the Role:
As the Manager, Youth Engagement you will:
Provide project management to co-ordinate and lead youth engagement initiatives and strategies and provide leadership and direction in the planning and implementation of School and Regional Operations and Performance Division priorities and strategies aligned to the department's improvement agenda.
Research, analyse and assess data to develop creative, innovative strategies to support the varying needs of young people in achieving their outcomes as they transition through their educational pathway.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including working collaboratively, within and across schools, settings, agencies and organisations to implement collaborative strategies to ensure the effective implementation of School and Regional Operations and Performance Division priorities for all students in state schools.
Contribute, as a member of the senior management team, to setting and co-ordinating strategic direction and activities ensuring the effectiveness of youth engagement within the department's priorities.
Coordinate and contribute to the strategic direction and activities as defined in priorities set by senior management.
