About the role
This rewarding role supports young people leaving care to build independent and meaningful lives. As their key worker, you'll provide culturally safe guidance, practical support, and advocacy, helping them achieve their goals in housing, education, employment, wellbeing, and connection to culture. Through the Housing First model, you'll empower young people to thrive in their own homes and communities.

You are passionate about walking alongside Aboriginal young people as they build confidence, independence, and bright futures. Through a culturally safe and strengths based approach, you foster meaningful connections and provide practical support, advocacy, and encouragement across housing, education, employment, wellbeing, and community. You are committed to empowering young people to reach their goals and thrive in their homes, communities, and cultural identity.
- Desirable:
- Diploma of Community Services, Certificate 4 in Community Services
- Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience in the Out of Home Care and/or Housing sectors.
- Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
