Spearhead Supports is a growing NDIS provider delivering person-centred supports across Perth. We support participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL), community access, mental health, and complex behavioural support settings.

We are seeking a confident, engaging, and emotionally intelligent Support Worker to work with participants who require strong rapport, meaningful community engagement, and calm support during challenging moments.
About the role
This is not a standard support worker role. We are looking for someone who can genuinely connect with people, build trust, create positive routines, and support participants to enjoy life safely in the community.
You may support participants with:
- Mental health presentations
- Emotional dysregulation
- Verbal aggression at times
- Social isolation / boredom
- Community access goals
- Behaviour support needs
- High need for structure and engagement
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting participants in the community
- Creating engaging and meaningful day plans
- Building healthy routines and independence skills
- Remaining calm during escalations or challenging behaviours
- Using positive behaviour support strategies
- Transporting participants safely in the community
- Writing clear progress notes and incident reports
- Working closely with management and allied health teams

Skills and Experience
MUST HAVE
· Relevant Qualifications e.g. disability, aged care, community services or relevant experience.
· AT LEAST 2 years experience working in disability support and experience in managing challenging behaviours
· A firm understanding of de-escalation techniques
· Working with Children Check
· National Police Clearance
· NDIS Worker Orientation Module

· Valid Driver’s License & a reliable vehicle
· Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
