About the Role:
As we continue to develop our Finance Team, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Graduate Accountant to join our Gillman Head Office.
This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate, or someone in the final stages of their accounting studies, who is looking to build practical commercial finance experience in a supportive and fast-paced business environment.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the Accounts Payable function while developing your skills across reconciliations, cashflow management, procurement administration, financial reporting and finance compliance activities.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing supplier invoices, approvals, payment runs and supplier reconciliations using the AP automation platform

Maintaining supplier records and master data to support accurate processing, coding and reporting

Assisting with banking activities, cashbook management and cashflow reporting

Supporting month-end reporting, accrual processes and finance compliance activities

Performing regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the financial ledgers

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and provide financial information

Assisting with procurement administration, supplier onboarding and contract registers

Contributing to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function
About You:
-
Recently completed, or currently completing, studies in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline

Strong attention to detail and a high level of pride in work output

Confident using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and comfortable learning new systems

Positive and proactive attitude with an inquisitive outlook and a willingness to learn

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while contributing as part of a team

Previous office-based experience, administration experience or exposure to business systems will be highly regarded but is not essential
