Your role and responsibilities
We're seeking a passionate Engineering and Service Manager for the Local Traction Division across Australia and New Zealand. If you're driven to lead high-performing teams, champion excellence, and shape our leadership culture, this opportunity is for you.
As Engineering and Service Manager, you'll lead a team of professionals delivering exceptional engineering and service solutions to customers and production sites—on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead and develop the Engineering and Service team, building capability while fostering a strong culture of integrity, safety, diversity, and inclusion
Strengthen engineering and service delivery by aligning with global frameworks and enhancing local capabilities
Drive customer and service growth through strong relationships, tailored offerings, and targeted sales and marketing initiatives
Own operational and financial performance, ensuring on-time delivery, compliance with HSE and quality standards, and effective budget and resource management
What You'll Achieve
You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our service footprint while developing a talented team that delivers excellence to our customers. This is your chance to make a lasting impact on our business and people.
Work model for the role is: Onsite, 5-days a week, at our brand new, state of the art factory in Maryborough, Queensland.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, with demonstrated experience in Engineering and Service Leadership.
Expertise in innovative power electronics and traction technology, ideally in industries such as trains/ rolling stock, mining trucks, and other heavy vehicles.
Strong endurance and assertiveness to lead, grow, and empower the Engineering and Service team.
Excellent communication skills to effectively solve complex organisational and technical challenges.
Willingness to travel interstate occasionally as required.
