About the role
Inner West Council is seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our dynamic Civil Works team. As a Team Member - Civil Works, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality civil construction and maintenance services across the Inner West community.
In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of civil works activities safely and efficiently, contributing to the long-term functionality and performance of Council’s infrastructure. You’ll work independently or as part of a team to meet the objectives outlined in your work plan, helping to maintain the high standards expected by our community.

Remuneration
$67,037 to $73,024 + 12% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
Essential Criteria:
- Experience to undertake infrastructure works including but not limited to concrete, asphalt, drainage, signage and street furniture construction and maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Minimum MR Drivers Licence.
- Safework general construction induction card (white card).
Desirable Criteria:
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Plant operator accreditation
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent
