The Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to join our Sydney Head Office and take ownership of campaign planning and execution, translating strategy into practical, measurable activity. This is 3 days a work in the office (ideally Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) in Barangaroo.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll turn strategy into action, driving pipeline growth through events, digital campaigns, and targeted account activity, supported by a collaborative marketing team including a content writer, events manager, and graphic designer.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing, sales teams, and subject matter experts to deliver marketing that is measurable, practical, and aligned to business outcomes. You don’t need to know everything on day one but you’ll bring a strong foundation in B2B marketing and a willingness to learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate marketing strategy into clear quarterly and annual plans aligned to pipeline targets
- Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across events, digital, content, and targeted account activity
- Lead field marketing initiatives including webinars, roundtables, industry events (e.g. Gartner), and partner activations
- Work closely with sales to ensure marketing activity drives leads, conversations, and pipeline
- Use past campaign performance (events, ads, activity) to inform future planning and investment
- Manage targeted digital campaigns (including regional activity such as WA campaigns) to generate demand
- Partner with internal SMEs and external partners to deliver strong, relevant content and campaigns
- Own vendor co-marketing activity, including planning and executing against MDF budgets (primarily Microsoft)
- Track and report on results, from leads through to pipeline impact — using CRM and reporting tools
- Present insights clearly and use data to continuously improve campaign performance
What skills and experience you bring:
- 5–7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within technology, IT services, or managed services
- Strong understanding of how marketing activity contributes to commercial outcomes, including pipeline and revenue
- Strong experience in events and field marketing (webinars, roundtables, industry events)
- Experience working closely with sales teams, with the patience and drive to build strong alignment
- Confident working with internal stakeholders and SMEs to bring campaigns to life
- Solid understanding of campaign performance metrics (leads, conversions, pipeline contribution)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
- Excellent communication skills, able to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging messaging
- Hands-on experience with tools such as CRM platforms (e.g. Dynamics 365), Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience working with vendor MDF (Marketing Development Funds) and using budgets strategically
Note: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
