About the role
Provide specialist refrigeration and air conditioning trade services within the Engineering Department at The Prince Charles Hospital, ensuring critical infrastructure systems are maintained to support safe and effective healthcare delivery. This role involves performing planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of systems including chilled water plants, air conditioning, ventilation systems, and commercial refrigeration equipment.
You will work both independently and collaboratively with other trade staff to deliver timely, cost-effective maintenance and repair solutions, while maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to technical advice, cost estimations, and coordination of works, supporting operational efficiency and reliability of building services across the hospital.

Perform maintenance, repair, and minor works on refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Apply technical expertise across a range of plant and equipment including HVAC and refrigeration systems
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary trade teams to achieve effective service outcomes

Contribute to efficient service delivery, including job planning, reporting, and cost estimation
