About Kingsize Big & Tall
Established in 1972, Kingsize is Australia's original big and tall menswear specialist. We fit and serve customers that mainstream retail doesn't — which means product knowledge, genuine service, and getting the fit right actually matter here. Our Inglewood store is looking for a hands-on Store Manager to run the floor, lead a small team, and own the customer experience day to day.
The role
This is a working manager position — you'll be on the floor, not behind a desk. You'll run the store's customer service, presentation, and team, with head-office support handling the back-office administration so you can focus on trade.
What you'll own:
- Customer service — setting the standard on the floor, handling fittings and clienteling, and turning walk-ins into repeat customers who come back because we got them right
- Visual merchandising — keeping the store presented to brand standard, executing floor changes, windows, and product launches
- Leading a small team — coaching, motivating, and getting the best out of a handful of retail staff; holding the standard when you're not there
- Store operations — stock, presentation, and the daily running of the store
What's supported for you:
- All HR administration is handled by head office (no rostering required of you)
- No payroll responsibility
What you'll need (required):
- Demonstrated retail management experience, ideally in fashion or apparel
- Experience leading a small team on the floor
- Availability to work retail trading hours, including weekends
- A genuine service mindset and comfort with fit-focused, consultative selling
Nice to have (preferred):
- Menswear, formalwear, or specialist/fit-focused retail background
- Visual merchandising experience
Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
