Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).
What you'll be doing
Provide optimum sterilisation services of hospital equipment and instruments within the Central Sterilising Service Department reflective of current infection control measures and in accordance with statutory requirements and Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You present as a committed and capable Sterilisation Technician with a solid foundation built through the completion of your Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology at TAFE. You bring recent, hands‑on experience within a hospital-based sterilising department, where you have strengthened your technical skills and demonstrated your ability to perform complex tasks under general supervision while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
You show sound computer literacy and confidently navigate the programs and systems associated with CSSD operations. Your attention to detail is a defining strength, enabling you to undertake repetitive tasks with precision and uphold strict infection control standards. You work effectively within a seven‑day rotating roster and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast‑paced, continually evolving environment.
You contribute positively to team performance by applying your professional expertise and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Your reliability, adaptability, and commitment to high-quality sterilisation practices position you as a valuable member of any CSSD team.
