We are looking for driven, ambitious individuals with minimum 1 year experience in a hospitality or customer facing role, to join our small team.
As a small team with big dreams, we highly value a team member who is authentic, open and always willing to learn. We are a team of all-rounders, skilled in front-of-house as well as in the back (although there's no kitchen to hide in!).
The ideal candidate, just like us, will have a genuine love for building personable connections with our customers by being hospitable, knowledgable and helpful. Along with waitressing duties, you will be bringing your best self to the table and ensuring that customers are having a good time. Therefore, we require someone that is observant, attentive and approachable.
Please note, this role is not for you if you do not enjoy talking to people.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certification (or willing to renew)
- Food Safety Certificate Level 1 (or willing to renew)
- 1 year in hospitality role
Must:
- Like oysters or seafood
- Excel at engaging in conversation with people
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, adaptable environment where stock availability can change
- Work well as part of a positive, collaborative team
- Be independent, quick-thinking and have a proactive, can-do attitude.
Day in the life:
- Shuck oysters for dine-in, takeaway or clients (restaurants)
- Create memorable experiences with the customers by engaging with them and sharing your expertise
- Welcome every customer when they walk in and be ready to explain how our menu works.
- Proactively engage with customers, ask questions and provide tailored recommendations based on customer preferences, availability and popularity (this involves upselling, bonus points if you have a background in sales).
- Assist with the store's stock replenishment when needed (oysters, drinks and supplies)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store.

Pay: $26.00 – $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 38 per week
